CONDITIONS
ACNE
Acne is an inflammatory disease due to disordered sebum and skin production. Bacteria and dead skin cells build up at the pilo-sebaceous unit which results in break outs and chronic inflammation. At Dr. Paris Aesthetic Clinic I take time identifying what factors may be triggering your break outs and tailor a treatment plan specific to your needs.
ROSACEA
This is a chronic acquired skin condition that mostly affects fairer skin types between the ages of 30-50 years. It is more common in women and is characterized by facial redness, inflammation and swelling affecting the nose, cheeks, chin and forehead. If left untreated it can progress to acne rosacea. As part of your skin consultation process I will identify what may be triggering your rosacea and construct a tailor made treatment plan to address your skin issues.
LOSS OF ELASTICITY
Loose skin is natural part of ageing due to the breakdown of collagen and elastin in the skin leaving it less plump and firm. Skincare starts with prevention and at Dr. Paris Aesthetic Clinic I work with you to prevent premature ageing alongside treating your skin with innovative treatments to improve firmness and elasticity.
PIGMENTATION
There are many factors that contribute to pigmentation problems, these include hormones, injury, inflammation, medication, sun and ageing. Pigmentation disorders are related to special skin cells called melanocytes that make melanin, this pigment affects the colour of the skin. It is important to distinguish benign pigmented lesions from those that appear more sinister. My role is facial skin cancer surgery allows me to fully assess your skin and if there are any suspicious looking lesions you will be referred onward to receive appropriate treatment.
TEXTURAL CHANGES
Scarring, Enlarged pores, and Age related changes
These conditions can impact our self-confidence. There are several treatments available to help address these issues and improve the texture of your skin.
SENSITIVITY AND DRYNESS
Many patients report issues with sensitive skin. These may be due to genetic predisposition and poor barrier function. However the majority of reasons for these symptoms are acquired and can therefore be reversed with personalised skincare routines to strengthen your barrier function.
